In a Matter Pursuant to the Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act

On May 15, 2020, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) entered into an agreement with Mr. Stephen Petrovich (L5718) to voluntarily suspend the practice of engineering in New Brunswick.

The voluntary agreement, found here, was initiated by APEGNB upon learning that Mr. Petrovich was subject to a disciplinary order in the Province of British Columbia.

Mr. Petrovich was suspended by Engineers Geoscientists British Columbia for three months beginning on April 17, 2020.

The agreement allows the matter to be resolved without the necessity of a formal Complaint.

As part of the agreement, Mr. Petrovich undertook to voluntarily suspended practice in New Brunswick until all aspects of the disciplinary order in British Columbia are satisfied.

Further he undertook to return his Professional Seal and not refer to himself as a Professional Engineer, P.Eng., during his suspension.
