The Université de Moncton, along with its partners Natural Resources Canada, the New Brunswick Department of Environment and Local Government, UNB, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB), are collaborating to build capacity for New Brunswick engineers to adapt to changing environmental conditions in New Brunswick.
You are invited to participate in a short survey that will provide a baseline understanding of the priorities and knowledge that influence engineering decisions. Click here to take the survey. This survey applies to all engineering sectors including education, design, operations, maintenance, planning, specifications, tendering etc. and any other domain where a changing climate affects engineering decisions in your work. We thank you in advance for participating in this survey and ask that you stay tuned for future webinar and workshop announcements.
APEGNB proudly supports the “Climate Change Adaptation Capacity Building for New Brunswick Engineers” three-year project. APEGNB is an advocate of climate change awareness and education. This initiative will be useful and appropriate for engineering professionals to add to their annual requirements of professional development hour credits as required in the APEGNB’s Act, By-laws and Code of Ethics.
Recognizing that climate change is an ever-growing issue in our province, we believe this project will provide value to both our membership and the province of New Brunswick.
