Engineering Profession Lecture Series – every Tuesday evening

The University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus Faculty of Engineering is pleased to invite APEGNB members to attend the Engineering Profession Lecture Series. This lectures-based course is designed to support our senior engineering students by preparing them for their careers in the engineering profession. Your participation as professional engineers and geoscientists alongside our students reinforces the importance of lifelong learning for the next generation of engineers.

Lectures schedule

Select lectures with special invitation for APEGNB members (third Tuesday of each month):

  • February 18:   Fire Protection – RJ Bartlett (Sean Bartlett)
  • March 18:        EDI – Society for Canadian Women in Science & Technology (Melanie Ratnam)

* Claim a one-hour Professional Development Hour (PDH) as part of APEGNB’s continuing professional development. The lectures held on the third Tuesday of January, February, and March in the winter term, and include areas of learning in Ethical Practice and Regulatory lectures which are now mandatory for all APEGNB members.

  • All lectures are free of charge.
  • Parking pass is not necessary if arriving after 4 pm. If you arrive before 4 pm you must contact UNB Security to obtain a parking pass. Campus/Parking Map
