Registered Elsewhere in Canada
If you are a Registered Professional elsewhere in Canada moving to New Brunswick and providing engineering/geoscience services for application in NB, you will become a Member. If you are a Registered Professional elsewhere in Canada not moving to New Brunswick but will be providing engineering/geoscience services for application in NB, you will become a Licencee (non-resident).
If you are providing services in the name of a company, the company may be required to have a Certificate of Authorization.
In order to apply for a membership transfer or licencee status, please use our online Application Form. The form will advise you of which supporting documents are required for your situation and how to submit them.
If we do not receive all required supporting documents within 1 year of the date of your application submission, your file will be closed. You will be required to reapply should you wish to continue with your registration.
As part of our mandate to public safety, APEGNB uses a detailed and thorough review process for all applications. This initial review process can take up to 6-12 months. When your application is processed, you will receive an email with next steps.
Once your file is complete, it will be sent to the Board of Admissions for review and approval.
Upon approval by the Board of Admissions, you will be provided with a certificate and a physical seal.
