1. If you are a Registered Professional elsewhere in Canada moving to New Brunswick and providing engineering/geoscience services for application in NB – you will become a Member.
In order to apply, you will be required to provide:
- Application form
- Up-to-date CV/Résumé
- Payment of fees & annual dues (Dues are not prorated. All applications received after October 1 will have the dues carried forward to the following calendar year.)
- If you are providing services in the name of a company, the company may be required to have a Certificate of Authorization.
Typically, these applications can be processed within 2-3 business days, once a completed application has been received.
Upon approval by the Board of Admissions, you will be provided with a certificate and a physical seal.
Digital seals/signatures may be purchased through our partner, Notarius.
2. If you are a Registered Professional elsewhere in Canada not moving to New Brunswick but will be providing engineering/geoscience services for application in NB – you will become a Licencee.
In order to apply, you will be required to provide:
- Application form
- Up-to-date CV/Résumé
- Payment of fees & annual dues (Dues are not prorated. All applications received after October 1 will have the dues carried forward to the following calendar year.)
- If you are providing services in the name of a company, the company may be required to have a Certificate of Authorization.
Typically, these applications can be processed within 2-3 business days, once a completed application has been received.
Upon approval by the Board of Admissions, you will be provided with a physical seal for the calendar year. A wall certificate can be provided at your request. Upon renewal within the following year you will be provided with a new seal (and a renewal sticker for your certificate).

3. If you are an MIT registered elsewhere in Canada, follow the instructions for First-Time applicants in Canada. We will take into account any assessment or logbooks submitted to a sister association.
