Application Supporting Documents

All documents must be valid and unexpired.

The Board of Admissions will consider other documentation on a case-by-case basis AND reserves the right to ask for additional documentation as needed.

If you have changed your name and your documents do not reflect your current name, please also include any name change documents (change of name certificate, marriage certificate, etc.).

Suggestions of acceptable documents as part of the APEGNB application process:

  • Professional liability insurance:
    • Certificate of insurance with expiry date and policy limit
  • Internationally obtained engineering or geoscience degrees:
    • WES course-by-course ICAP report sent directly from WES to APEGNB
  • Canadian obtained engineering or geoscience degrees:
    • Official transcript sent directly from the institution to APEGNB
  • Canadian or internationally obtained non-engineering or non-geoscience degrees:
    • Diploma/degree/certificate
  • Canadian citizenship, residency or permit:
    • Valid (Non-Expired) Passport Photo Page
    • Birth Certificate
    • Certificate of Indian Status
    • Valid (Non-Expired) Permanent Residency Card
    • Valid (Non-Expired) Confirmation of Permanent Residency
    • Valid (Non-Expired) Work/Study Permit
    • Valid (Non-Expired) NEXUS Card

New Brunswick Residency

1 of the following:

  • Valid (Non-Expired) New Brunswick Driver’s Licence
  • Valid (Non-Expired) New Brunswick Photo ID Card
  • Valid (Non-Expired) New Brunswick Health Card

OR

2 of the following:

  • Utility bill that is less than 2 months old with name of applicant/legal guardian/immediate family member who lives at same address
  • Signed residential lease
  • Current year property tax bill or notice of assessment
  • Land title
  • Mortgage documents
  • Confirmation of benefits issued by Government of Canada
  • Current year’s personal income tax documents
  • Paystub or letter from employer
  • Home or auto insurance policy or card
